⚠ Education, not advice. These books teach how money, markets and investing work in principle. They are not investment advice and recommend no specific security or product. Markets carry real risk including loss of capital; no return is guaranteed. Figures are illustrative. The Series

A note on currency. The series is written globally (prices in $, applicable anywhere) with one exception: Book 3 teaches market structure through the Indian market (₹, NSE/BSE/SEBI, T+1) because a concrete market beats an abstract one — the concepts transfer directly to any exchange. Indian readers can pair Book 3 with The Stock Market, From Scratch below as a dedicated India track; readers elsewhere can read Book 3 for the concepts and map the institutions to their own regulator and exchanges.

The wealth equation (income × savings rate × time, with the worked tables showing why savings rate dominates returns); net worth and the ratios that matter; debt as accelerator or destroyer; the emergency fund. The big life decisions: buy vs rent (the 5% rule), insurance against ruin, career capital as your largest asset, children and education. The life-cycle decades: 20s systems, 30s-40s accumulation, the 50s consolidation, the 60s+ decumulation. Estate planning, generational wealth (the Williams-Preisser causes), philanthropy, the three legacies. Closing with the question of enough plus a one-page synthesis across all eight books.

About

The Design

Broadsheet editorial style. Fraunces (display), Spectral (body), Archivo (small-caps furniture) — ink on warm paper, with a single gold accent. No drop-shadows, no rounded "cards", no generic SaaS look — the visual language of a serious printed broadsheet, transposed to screen and print.

Real charts. Every market chart in Book 5 is built from real OHLC data — S&P 500, AAPL, NFLX, META, TSLA, Nifty 50, Reliance — rendered through mplfinance against the data. Every figure is independently verifiable; the back of Book 5 lists every chart with instrument and date range.

Real math. Every formula is followed by a worked numeric calculation. Compound growth, real return (Fisher), expense-ratio drag, the 1% position-sizing rule, Bollinger Bands, ATR, RSI, MACD, Ichimoku — all computed by hand and shown step by step.

Real depth. Book 5 alone is 42 chapters in 10 parts, with case studies of the 1929, 1987, 2000, 2008, 2020 and 2022 episodes on actual price data, a 60+ exercise workbook with full answer keys, and a Python companion that ships code for every indicator.
